Capturing this debug log from other display may be interesting (is the bad edid also there).
We can't query what hdmi modes are supported.
If you know what resolution is supported, then you can force it in cmdline.txt. e.g. add:to cmdline.txt (on existing line).
Have you tried each of the two hdmi ports on Pi4?
