I have a ZERO W installed in my backyard to control the fence lights and soon to be a weather station. It's in a 8X8" waterproof box.
I was having issues no connectivity from within the house so I installed a USB WIFI with antennae. Here's what it's profile looks likeI recently turned off power management to hope to improve connectivity.
The MESH router that is servicing it shows a strong signal. It's about 40 feet away from the ZERO.
However, even though I'm connected, SSH can take several seconds to respond/echo to a new command which is puzzling.
One item I am concerned about is that the power supply for the ZERO is only 1-2" away from the antennae. I wondering if the transformer in the power supply could be interfering with the signal.
Thoughts?
Thanks
