Good point - I assume people buy from reputable dealers (or they have decent supply chains) too muchMaybe faulty or fake card. Download h2testw (for Windows) and use it to test the card.
Giving the OP is using a Mac or Linux box then F3 (https://fight-flash-fraud.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) is similar to h2testw
